Madi earned her M.A. in Design from San Francisco State University and her B.S. in Technology Information Management from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Initially working as a project manager for creative teams, she discovered her true passion lay in creating rather than managing, inspiring her to pursue a Master's Degree in Design.
As the daughter of educators, Madi thrives in environments centered on learning and growth. During her first semester of graduate school, she faced the challenge of a lymphoma diagnosis, undergoing six months of treatment while continuing as a full-time student. This experience taught her the importance of resilience, hence the creation of "The Resilient Designer."
Currently, Madi serves as the Development Associate for the Daly City Youth Health Center, where she focuses on grant writing and managing marketing communications.
