Using Blender and Unity, I created a 3D virtual museum tour displaying some of my art and the art of my peers. Taking inspiration from Beyonce's Renaissance album, I created the "Reneighssance" museum, where a disco horse guides you through three different rooms. The music and sound effects are coordinated with the rooms, creating an exciting experience for the user. I learned a lot about texture sheets, modeling, lighting, and game development through this project. Click here to play.
Volunteering is something that brings me joy. For the Coosa Riverkeeper in Alabama, I created this short animated video about how the water is tested before it is declared safe to swim in. I enjoyed drawing the characters and backgrounds in ProCreate based on images provided to me by the organization and then animating them to create a short film. Click here to watch.
The Wipeout Cancer organization is close to my heart, and I was honored to take on the job of redesigning their website. I have been volunteering with the organization since 2017, received support from them when facing my own diagnosis in 2022, and was hired to redesign their website in 2023. The website was originally created with Wordpress and I transferred it to Wix, integrating Shopify, Jotform and Mailchimp. Visit https://www.wipeout-cancer.org/.
I used p5.js to create a simple video game that would teach kids how to use the keys on a keyboard. The game has the user select a pumpkin from a pumpkin patch, carve it, and then light it for Halloween. Though the game is very straightforward, it is a great introduction to keyboard skills. The playable ad for the "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" mobile game was created for Eastside Games in 2021. The playable for Call of Duty mobile game was created for Activision Games in 2020 via the MoPub organization. As Project Manager, I was responsible for the ideation, design, development, QA testing, and launch of the advertisement.
Part of my role at the Daly City Youth Health Center is to create and maintain our webpage. I recently collaborated with students at Berkeley's Code for Good organization to reformat and simplify our website. Using Squarespace and html/css, we were able to create a great site. For a contract role, I updated the JUHSD's Career Technical Education website and created an associated print booklet for the program to promote themselves. The printed booklet was also integrated in the webpage via HeyZine, and different versions were personalized for each of the five school sites.
